Bangladesh is developing in strong automobile industry based on the domestic market. About the economic profile of Bangladesh in the year 2020. Bangladesh will be one of the largest car markets in Asia. All we need is, as bstrat said, restricted import policy for a few years so that the domestic car, two wheelers, trucks, small truck ,assembly plants can be expanded into full fledged vehicleof manufacturing units. Each year Bangladesh imports like 300000 vehicle from around the world and growth of import is continuing. About RDA

RDA is an autonomous institution and its governing authority is the Board of Governors (BoG) headed by the Honourable Adviser / Minister for local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD&C). The BoG is comprised of 21 members represented by high-level administrators, academicians and development professional of the country. The Director General of the Academy is the Member-Secretary of the board and acts as the Chief Executive. In a capsule, the BoG determines policies, approves annual the Academy. As a linkage to the Government of Bangladesh, RDA is attached to the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division of the Ministry of LGRD&C.try of LGRD&C.
